EfxINNOs Showcased at the ANEMONE PLUS Phase 1 Stakeholder Co-Creation Workshop

The EfxINNOs project was presented during the Phase 1 Stakeholder Co-Creation Workshop co-organised by the National Institute for Marine Research and Development “Grigore Antipa” (NIMRD) as coordinator of the ANEMONE PLUS project, together with its Romanian partner, Mare Nostrum NGO, on 22 April 2026 in Constanța, Romania.

The workshop brought together representatives from research institutions, universities, public authorities, environmental organisations, and other key stakeholders to discuss innovative solutions for strengthening the protection and sustainable management of the Black Sea marine ecosystem.

Within a dedicated session on project synergies, EfxINNOs was presented alongside several Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin projects. The session explored opportunities for collaboration and highlighted the importance of connecting complementary initiatives to maximise their impact across the region.

Discussions focused on the potential integration of datasets and results generated by EfxINNOs into the future ANEMONE PLUS WebGIS Decision Support Platform. Such collaboration would enhance data accessibility, interoperability, and knowledge sharing while providing stakeholders with a more comprehensive understanding of the Black Sea environment.

By fostering synergies between projects, initiatives such as EfxINNOs and ANEMONE PLUS contribute to strengthening regional cooperation, improving marine monitoring capacities, and supporting evidence-based decision-making for the conservation and sustainable management of the Black Sea.
