EfxINNOs Participates in the ALGAWA Living Lab Workshop in Constanța

On June 23, 2026, the EfxINNOs project participated in the Living Lab at the Floating Pilot Site – Romania, organised by the National Institute for Marine Research and Development “Grigore Antipa” (NIMRD) in Constanța as part of the ALGAWA project.

The event brought together more than 20 representatives from research institutions, universities, public authorities, environmental organisations, and other stakeholders interested in advancing Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for reducing water pollution and improving aquatic ecosystems in the Black Sea region.

EfxINNOs joined a dedicated session highlighting cooperation and synergies among regional Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin projects, alongside #BSSEOS and #DINOPATH and #ANEMONEPLUS. The discussions focused on sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences, and identifying opportunities for collaboration in addressing common environmental challenges affecting the Black Sea.

The workshop demonstrated the value of bringing together projects with complementary expertise to develop innovative, scalable, and multidisciplinary solutions. By fostering cooperation between researchers, public authorities, and environmental stakeholders, the event contributed to strengthening regional efforts towards healthier aquatic ecosystems and more sustainable management of the Black Sea.
